Difficult times. We were PVC's in Haiti in 2003 and were evacuated in Feb 2004 for civil unrest to the DR thinking we would return to our village. We never felt in any danger in our village but the decision was made to temperirarly close the PC Haiti site. We never said our good bye's to our village and have always wanted to return. We waited over 5 months and it didn't reopen so we took another invitation to Jamaica and we served there for 2 years. Kenn visited Haiti in Aug 2007 and found no danger. We are currently trying to capture a American Express progect grant to "Teach Haitian school children to grow food." please check it out and vote for our project.
